The AIR System comprises an automated precision X-Y stage and microscope with three channel fluorescence imaging capabilities.
Cells are seeded on the CytoSort™ Array and automatically imaged on the AIR System to capture images, analyze fluorescent signal intensities for sorting and isolate single cells of interest.
The AIR System is designed to significantly reduce the time needed to collect 96 cells compared to the CellRaft System for inverted microscopes.
Two run modes are currently available on the AIR™ System software
Real-time Mode: Employ the motorized microscope to examine the CytoSort Array for cells of interest, and select them for isolation in a 96-well plate
Cytometric Mode: Scan the CytoSort Array automatically for single cells and use signal intensity histograms and user-defined gates to select cells for downstream isolation.
