Publication: Polymicrobial Biofilm Organization of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in a Chronic Wound Environment

In this article, a BioFlux shear flow system was used to co-culture Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in a chronic wound-like medium. The investigators found that biofilm organization was non-random with bacterial biofilms for each strain forming in different areas of the wound.
