Publication: Distinct and convergent effects of SF3B1 mutations in human breast cancer

In this study, CellRaft AIR was used to isolate, verify, and expand monoclonal cell lines carrying engineered SF3B1 mutations, forming the basis of an isogenic panel for functional analysis. Researchers performed single-cell isolation followed by daily imaging on the CellRaft AIR system to confirm monoclonal colony outgrowth prior to downstream screening and characterization. This ensured genetic purity of each clone, enabling accurate assessment of how specific SF3B1 hotspot mutations influence cell growth, gene expression, and tumor phenotypes both in vitro and in vivo.
