Publication: Involvement of Piezo 1 in inhibition of shear-induced platelet activation and arterial thrombosis by ginsenoside Rb1

In this investigation by Wang et al., the group used a BioFlux Shear Flow System to assess the role of Piezo1 in platelet aggregation and thrombosis as well as the dose-response impact of Rb1 treatment on thrombus prevention. The investigators found that Piezo1 mediates shear-induced platelet aggregation and that this aggregation is inhibited by Rb1 treatment.
